Using

AUTODESK 2007

in the CEE Domain

Explanation of the problem:

When a user executes any of the Autodesk applications for the first time, several Autodesk folders are added to the users profile.  Unfortunately, half of the installed files and folders are written to the users 'Local Settings' folder.  The CEE domain servers do not save the 'Local Settings' folder during user log off.

Consequently, when the user tries to use the program following a log off, or from a different computer, the program - unable to locate the missing folders and files - will reinstall itself.  Errors are generated during the second installation.

Solution:

A solution is to copy - during each logon procedure - the missing Autodesk files and folders to the users 'Local Settings' folder.
