MathCad setup

MathCad 13

Go to START - PROGRAMS - MATHEMATICAL-STATISTICAL SOFTWARE – Mathcad 13

If the following screen is displayed,

enter on the Server line:

27003@civil-01.cee.wsu.edu

  Hit OK and restart Mathcad 13

If instead of the window above, you receive an Error Window,

Use MAP NETWORK DRIVE to connect to \\civil-01.cee.wsu.edu\Help

Go to the 'MathCad' folder and execute the file Mathcad.bat

The above window will be generated so that you can enter the license address.

 

MathCad 2001i

A few older systems may still be using MathCad 2001i.  If an error is received when starting MathCad 2001i, it is probably because you are not connected to the proper server and share. 

Select START and R- click on MY COMPUTER

Select DISCONNECT NETWORK DRIVE.

If one of the listed network drives is S: 

Highlight the address and select OK.  The share will disconnect.

 

To connect to the proper server and share -

Go to START and R- click on MY COMPUTER

 

Select MAP NETWORK DRIVE.

Use the drop down arrow to select the S: drive

 

Type the following address in the FOLDER box:

\\civil-01.cee.wsu.edu\MathCad

 

Select the RECONNECT AT LOGON box

 

After selecting FINISH, the drive share will appear on the desktop. 

 

You can close the window.  It is not needed.
